This notice has been published for the information of all concerned that the online application form for a driver’s license operated by this department has been closed since the recently concluded House of Representatives and State Assembly elections and will resume from Sunday, 27 November 2079.

Apply for an online driving license (DOTM Online)
First and foremost, you should visit the Department of Transportation’s official website (www.dotm.gov.np). On the right side of the page, select “Online Driver’s License System” from the list of “Important Links.” the menu is at the top of the screen, and choose Online Driving License Registration. When you see the new page, navigate to the category, select New License, Renew License, or Copy, and then click the “Proceed” button. The form will display once you click “Proceed.”
“Applicant Saved Successfully,” it then states. then press OK. Finally, after clicking “print,” your form is finished. You must print the finished page and keep it with you at all times if the Online driving license form is accepted. You may find your biometric’s time on the paper.
