Scope of CA course in Nepal:

This CA course in Nepal is divided into 3 CAPs:
- CAP-I-Six Months
- CAP-II-Nine Months

Total: The total duration of the CA program in Nepal is 4 years and 3 months.
Fee Structure of CA course in Nepal:
Students can only move on to CAP-II after completing CAP-I. Similarly, Cap-III is after the completion of CAP-II.
- For CAP-I: The average cost of CAP-I (six months of duration) tuition is Rs. 27,500. The Council may change the fee structure based on its needs.
- For CAP-II: Students must pass the ICAN eligibility test to participate in CAP-II. CAP-II has a tuition price of Rs. 32,500 on average. Hence, students must pass the eligibility test to advance to the final round. The Council may change the fee structure based on its needs.
- For CAP-III: Practical instruction includes in CAP-III. CA combines with a college education for students. Many students combine CA with bachelor’s degrees such as Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), among others. The average cost of studying CAP-III in CA in Nepal is Rs. 40,000. The Council may change the fee structure based on its needs.

Eligibility Criteria of CA programs in Nepal:
The following are eligible to register for a CA course in Nepal:
- completed higher secondary level education (10+2) or certificate level, A-level, or comparable test. (Only after graduating from class 12 are candidates eligible for Chartered Accountant CPT registration).
- have passed the CAP-I Level Exam, or
- Graduates and postgraduates who earned less than 50% in commerce and less than 60% in faculty other than commerce were ineligible to enroll in the CAP-II course immediately.
Scholarship of CA course in Nepal:
Many scholarships are offered to qualified students in CA courses. CA is not an easy subject; hence, scholarships are available to those who meet the following criteria:
CAP-I Level:
- Students from financially and regionally backward groups who have a minimum 2.8 CGPA or comparable grade in the management stream or a 3.2 GPA or more significant in other streams than management can apply for a financially and regionally backward scholarship.
- On a merit basis, students with a minimum 3.2 GPA in management and a minimum 3.6 CGPA in other disciplines besides management are eligible to apply for the award.
CAP-II Level:
- Students from a financially and regionally backward group with a minimum grade point average of 60% in their Bachelor’s degree or CAP I can apply for scholarships economically and geographically backward.
- On a merit basis, students with a minimum of 75% in their Bachelor’s degree may apply for the award.
