New Syllabus for Grades 5, 8 & 10 will be implemented in 2080. Grades 5, 8, & 10 will begin teaching the new curriculum as of the upcoming academic year in 2080. According to the Curriculum Development Center, efforts are being made to alter the curriculum. The creation of the curriculum for grades 5 & 10 has finished, and work on the curriculum for class 8 is now underway, according to Baikuntha Prasad Aryal, the center’s director general. He stated, “Classes 5, 8, and 10 will taught using the revised curriculum beginning with the following academic session.” To achieve this, the Curriculum Development Center is working. Class 5 and 10 syllabuses have created.
We are now working on the lesson plan for class 8. The center will print the new textbook after receiving a “print-ready copy” from Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra. According to him, Janak Shiksha Material Center has received the print-ready copy of the class 5 curriculum. On the basis of the revised curriculum, classes 4, 7, and 9 began last year. The Secondary Education Examination (SEE), which will administer in the year 2080, will require pupils to use the revised syllabus. Students who will take the SEE in 2079, however, will do so using the previous curriculum. The new curriculum would have been introduced in all school-level classrooms by 2080, according to an earlier government plan.
According to the Director General of Curriculum Development Center Aryal, the government’s strategy served as the foundation for the implementation of the new curriculum. There will two new topics added to the list of required subjects for classes 8 & 10. English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social, and Health and Physical Subjects for Class 5 & English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social, and Health and Physical Subjects.

The curriculum for grades 2, 3, and 12 is revise and put into effect in 2078. Similar to how grades 4, 7, and 9 have adopted the new curriculum as of the 2079–2080 school year.
