The creation of the curriculum for grades 5 & 10 has finished, and work on the curriculum for class 8 is now underway, according to Baikuntha Prasad Aryal, the center’s director general. He stated, “Classes 5, 8, and 10 will taught using the revised curriculum beginning with the following academic session.” To achieve this, the Curriculum Development Center is working. We are now working on the lesson plan for class 8. The center will print the new textbook after receiving a “print-ready copy” from Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra. Students who will take the SEE in 2079, however, will do so using the previous curriculum. The new curriculum would have been introduced in all school-level classrooms by 2080, according to an earlier government plan.

According to the Director General of Curriculum Development Center Aryal, the government’s strategy served as the foundation for the implementation of the new curriculum. There will two new topics added to the list of required subjects for classes 8 & 10. English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social, and Health and Physical Subjects for Class 5 & English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social, and Health and Physical Subjects.
