It began performing microfinance operations on July 18 from its first branch office in the Nuwakot district, Battar. Meromicrofinance has NRs. 1750 million in authorized capital, NRs. 1200 million in issued capital, and NRs. 1200 million in paid-up capital. Among these (Promoters 69.4%, the General Public 30.6%) is the original share allocation. Currently, it has 149 branch offices in 64 districts around Nepal to carry out microfinance operations.
