Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program 2022-023. Indian students studying in Nepal are invited to apply online for Golden Jubilee Scholarships by the Indian Embassy in Katmandu. You can submit the online application through the website www.goischolarship.com.np. The application should be submitted by December 16, 2022.

Eligibility for Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program

1. The applicant should be a first undergraduate regular student at a Nepali educational institution of recognized standing. Student enrollment in graduate or degree programs should be verified and posted by the principal or institute head. 
2. The candidate’s overall grade point average at the Intermediate Level (Class 12/Plus Two) should have been at least 70%. Class 12-mark sheets or plus two-mark sheets should submit. 
3. The candidate should be a Nepali national. Self- or parent’s citizenship certificate should also upload. 
4. The roof of a candidate who is physically challenged is given by the CDO, LDO, or Municipality to be posted head. 
5. The candidate’s family should make less than NRs. 2,00,000 annually. CDO/LDO/Municipality Head-issued income documentation should upload.

• Applicants who are already receiving financial aid from another source are ineligible to do so.
• please do not include grades from Class 11.
• scholarships are not available for diploma programs.

Amount and Duration of this Scholarship

If the scholarship recipients continue their studies and achieve success in the first and succeeding years, the scholarship will be offered in the second and following years. Along with the current condition of his or her studies, the student should produce each year’s passing grade report (apart from the final year), which must be validated by the institute’s or college’s administration and have the institution’s seal. The documents should be submitted by the second week of December at the latest, either physically at the Education Wing of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu or the Indian Consulate General in Birgunj, or via email to [email protected]. The scholarship might be canceled if this is not done. If the recipient fails twice in a row in two different semesters, stops taking classes, or has another good cause, the scholarship will be terminated.

Note: –

1. It is suggested that applicants only communicate with the Education Wing of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and the Indian Consulate General in Birgunj.
2. In the online application form, candidates should properly state their addresses, contact phone numbers, and email addresses. They should also attach a current passport-size photo.
3. Any changes to your address, phone number, or mobile number should be promptly informed in writing and signed by the candidate.
4. False information entered into the online application form, such as incorrect grades or the lack of relevant papers, will result in the application, candidacy, or scholarship being rejected entirely, and no further claims will be considered.
5. Students and guardians are urged to carefully read the directions and rules before filling out the online application form because there is no way to change anything after it has been submitted.
6. The candidate should save the email address and password in a secure location for use in any future contact or referrals.
7. The Indian Embassy reserves the right to approve or refuse any application.
