BSc Agriculture Course: In this article, we will learn about one of the most demanding courses in Nepal which is the BSc Agriculture Course. The Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science at Tribhuvan University (TU) offers a four-year, eight-semester Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSc. Agriculture) curriculum. The total credit hours for the course come to 167. For the purpose of preparing students for the workplace, both technical and non-technical subjects are taught. This program’s goal is to create agricultural development personnel, namely in the areas of teaching, research, and managing and using cutting-edge agricultural machinery and technologies.

Objectives of BSc Agriculture:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must have completed  10+2, or I. SC. (Agriculture), or an equivalent degree with at least 50 marks in each of Math and Physics.
  • 100 total points in English, Chemistry, and Biology from TU or other institutions/boards/universities recognized by TU.

Entrance Exam:

The admission exam is administered by the faculty of the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science.
It consists of 160 objective questions for a total of 160 points, 25 points for each of the subjects of physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, English, and math, and 10 points for general agriculture.
Two hours are allotted for the exam, and passing requires at least 80 marks.

Fee Structure:

Regarding fees, they differ from college to college. The cost is estimated according to the resources and infrastructure the college offers. The cost of the BSc. AG program is between two and ten lakh rupees.
