Position for a Business Development Director (BDD) Position 1
Two-year fixed-term position located in a country office, starting on the day of hire. The business development director is in charge of generating long-term value for Plan International Nepal from both current and potential sources of financing as well as through connections with institutions and businesses. In order to guarantee Plan Nepal’s financial sustainability and that Plan International Nepal has a balanced portfolio of appropriate, medium, and large grants as well as a pipeline of future financing, the role will take the lead in developing a long-term financial growth plan.
Technical Advisor-Gender and Social Inclusion (TAGSI) Position 1
Two-year fixed-term position located in a country office, starting on the day of hire. The Technical Advisor will contribute technical knowledge to the creation and execution of Plan International Nepal’s gender equality and social inclusion strategy (GESI). The main responsibility of the Technical Advisor-GESI is to help Plan International Nepal improve the national and global GESI/GEISA action plan execution by:
- Dissemination of strategies, plans of action, and directives throughout Plan International Nepal and its associates.
- Ensure strategic oversight of the program’s development and implementation.
- In close collaboration with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning team, institutionalize the knowledge and learnings produced.
- As a non-negotiable Plan International Nepal effort, GESI must integrated into all of our Areas of Global Distinction (AOGDs) throughout design and execution by increasing the capacity of Plan International Nepal staff members and its partners.
