In Nepal, gender-based violence is widespread. Throughout their lives, women and girls continue to experience numerous sorts of violence, regardless of their caste, race, or socioeconomic level. The Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response Phase II (GBVPR II) initiative, which runs from August 2020 to August 2024, was started by UNFPA to address the issue of GBV.

The main objective of the initiative is to lessen prejudice against women and girls in 19 municipalities in Sudurpaschim and Province 1, as well as all types of GBV.

The United Nations Population Fund, or UNFPA, is seeking suitable applicants for the following positions.
