The Nepali government announces a scholarship program for students each year that benefits students from all over the nation. Nepalese students can apply for scholarships each year to attend Tribhuvan University (TU) Constituent and Affiliated colleges as well as Kathmandu University and Constituent Colleges through the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.
The merit-based criteria used to give this scholarship. Around 10 BSc. Nursing, 45 MBBS, and many Paramedical programs merit-based scholarships are offered to Nepalese students by the Nepalese Institute of Medicine (IOM). The scholarship is awarded each year. The Henry Luce Foundation and the Boren Awards for International Study offer undergraduate scholarships for American students to study abroad in Nepal.
