Register for Free Technical Education at the Diploma Level Via CTEVT Special Scholarships
For the fiscal year 2079–080, the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has established a special scholarship program.
That would provide 80 local-level students who have not had access to technical education with free studies at the diploma level. The statement was made in a letter from the Technical Division of CTEVT, dated 10-24-2079.
Eligible Nepali people are asked to fill out the application form and take the entrance exam for technical education in order to apply for the program.
The program provides a Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science) and a Diploma in Hotel Management as its two academic options.
The study programs have allocate 40 quotas each to Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute, Banepa, Kavrepalanchok and Shriram Mithila Polytechnic Institute, Bhojpur.
The SLC or similar exam should clear from a recognized educational institution with a minimum score of 68.33 percent or a passing grade in the applicable Technical SLC from the Council. With the required disciplines of Mathematics, English, and Science.
Candidates who have successfully completed the Technical SLC (TSLC) with an overall grade point average of 68.33 percent.
Or who have earned a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 1.6 out of 4.0. With a minimum grade point average (CGPA) of 1.6 in the compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science in the SEE examination. Or an examination of an equivalent standard from a recognized educational institution, may also apply.
