Bachelor of Food Technology is a four-year undergraduate program at Tribhuvan University. The course teaches about the selection, preservation, processing, packaging, and usage of various Food items; taking care of their nutritional value as well.
The Bachelor of Food Technology degree also teaches about skills involved in food and food technology, along with their management and marketing.
The physical, chemical and biological aspects of Food are studied and experimented by different professionals or Food scientists and Food Technologists. Other disciplines like Biochemistry, Food package, and management, nutrition, various technologies involved in Food production and manufacturing along with the engineering aspects involved in Food and Food technology are integrated within this course of study.
