Patan Multiple Campus was established in 1954 when Nepal was a monarchy. Patan Multiple Campus starts under the ministry of education, his majesty’s government Nepal. A constituent of the oldest university of the country, Tribhuvan University, Patan Multiple campuses follows the rules and system of the university. The Campus was initiated as there was a lack of intelligent staffing in Nepal. Students had to depend on the neighboring country for higher education. Patan Multiple Campus paved the way for college education in Nepal itself. As of the year 2022, Campus has undergraduate and post-graduation programs in different streams. Every year folks of students enroll in PMC for higher education in subjects like English, Sociology, Economics, MBS, M.Sc, etc.
Even though it is a constituent of the Tribhuvan University, the decentralization program makes it possible for the Campus to take its own decisions. Patan Multiple Campus aims to produce a capable workforce in different fields of science, commerce, management, IT, etc. Moreover, with courses like education sociology, Newari provides a diverse range of options for the students to graduate. In addition, the Campus is on the way for Ph.D. programs.

It has sufficient staff to run different courses. With 13 professors, more than one hundred, and twenty-one associate professors, one hundred and fourteen Lecturers, Ninety-two Teaching Assistants, and one hundred twenty-five administrative staff, the Campus has the following programs to offer;

B.Sc.CSIT is a four- years course at Patan Multiple Campus. Upon graduating, students would learn IT knowledge. It is affiliated with TU. Students interested in computers and Tech can apply at PMC.
Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts is a four-year program in the streams of Arts. Patan Multiple Campus is a place to gain depth knowledge in the arts stream. In addition, students can learn to use their creativity professionally through this program.
Bachelor of Business Studies
Students wanting to build a career in banking, insurance, and management can get admission to PMC for a Bachelor of Business Studies. It is a course for four years, and upon graduating, students can join the related business field.
Master of Arts
Master of Arts (MA) degrees are graduate-level courses that take two years. Patan Multiple campuses also provide an MA degree and bachelor’s programs.
