Notification on the Request for Proposals for Research Support to Young Scientists from the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). As of the current fiscal year 2079/080, the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is in charge of running the research aid program for young scientists.
The bright young scientists and engineers who are eager to carry out technology and scientific study with a focus on results. developing either new or more advanced technology. Offer the study they would like to conduct, and applications are invited to be registered at NAST’s Khumaltar headquarters. Email a signed proposal to [email protected] or [email protected].
Young scientists conducting research in the same area will receive preference for research proposals that align with the goals of NAST’s seven provincial-specific research centers. The maximum budget for individual “group research” at the time the proposal is submitted is Rs. 5,00,000 (five lakhs), for institutional research it is Rs. 10,00,000 (ten lakhs), and for multidisciplinary research, it is Rs. 12,00,000. (twelve lakhs).
For research and innovation-related projects carried out by secondary school pupils, a maximum of Rs 50,000 (fifty thousand). Additionally, campus-level students may get up to Rs 1 lakh ($1 lakh) for programs relating to research and innovation (Bachelor). A maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 (one lakh) is also granted for scientific organizations, technological groups, and institutions to conduct research or promote their activities.
It is required to submit a group proposal and suggestion of the respective school and campus for research and innovation-related programs carried out by students at the school level and campus levels. The corresponding science teacher will be fully responsible for this. A copy of citizenship and up-to-date biodata must be included with a study proposal.
