Women’s Service Organization Scholarships have been given to Nepal’s students in need and poverty. 209 students received scholarships totalling 12 lakh 21 thousand rupees during a function held on Saturday under the direction of Palpali Society Pokhara.
Because without the assistance of any benefactors, the organization has been consistently awarding scholarships for technical education.
According to former minister and founder president of the organisation Hari Pandey, 192 students of Samata Shiksha Niketan and 11 students pursuing JTA at Anandjyoti Secondary School received scholarships this year. He claims that the charity has already given 625 students around the nation full and partial scholarships under various names.
The cost of tuition at Samata Shiksha Niketan is Rs. 100 per month. First through tenth-grade lessons are provided at this Pokhara school. The school has more than a thousand pupils enrolled. According to Kul Prasad Ghimire, a former president of the organisation, pupils at Pokhara’s Samataka Shiksha Niketan earned Rs 4,000 each this year, along with Rs 5,500 for administrative costs. At the same time, those at Anandjyoti received Rs 15,000 each.
Khagraj Adhikari, the chief minister of Gandaki Province, distributed the scholarship money and pledged his government’s assistance, noting that it is state policy to offer free healthcare and education. Additionally, he highlighted the need to constantly honour one’s parents, teachers, and elders.

There are enough issues in the education sector, according to the former president of the Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, Anandrajya Mulmi, who spoke on the show.
According to Samata School headmaster Jhalak Prasad Paudel, the scholarship funding would benefit the kids. Uttam Sanjel, the founder of Samata School, also took part in the activity.
