At Prabhu Capital Ltd’s offices in Kathmandu, the Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited’s initial public offering allocation has completed.

In its Initial Public Offering (IPO), Maya Khola Hydropower Company Ltd sold 19.92 billion rupees worth of units to the general public (Magh 13 to 17, 2079).

Out of the entire 24,00,000 units, 10%, or 240,000 units, have already issue. And allocated to Nepalese people living and working abroad. 2% or 48,000 units is reserve for firm workers. While 5%, or 120,000 units, of the total, offered shares, have reserve for mutual funds. 19.92,000 of the remaining number of share are for general sale.

After the IPO, the company’s paid-up capital will amount to Rs. 1 Arba. With this IPO, the business hopes to raise Rs 19.92 crore.

12,78,688 eligible candidates submitted applications for the issue, requesting a total of 1,41,17,390 units. The issue received more than 7.09 times its initial subscription.

According to the allocation module, 1,99,200 candidates received 10 units each through a lottery, while the remaining 10,79,488 applicants received no offers.

The mutual funds received 1,20,000 units, while 48,000 units were allocate to the workers.

Due to multiple applications from Local Shareholders, Foreign Employee Shareholders, Staff, and C-ASBA suspects, a total of 5,542 individuals who filed for 86,300 units are dismiss.
