During a ceremony held in conjunction with its 68th annual celebration. NRB recognized Himalayan Bank Limited for having been successful in bringing in the most remittances among the commercial banks.

At the event, Mr. Mahaprasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Ashok Shamsher Rana, Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Bank Limited.

Himalayan Bank won this title for successfully receiving 16.90% of all remittances received in the nation in the 2078 –1979 period.
