Surkhet Technical Institute was established in 1998 AD (2055 BS) as a private academic institute. It is located in Birendranagar-6 of Surkhet District, Nepal. This technical institute is affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It offered a vocational course in Pre-Diploma in Agriculture known as Plant Science, and Pre-Diploma in survey Engineering (AMIN). The motto of this institute is to be an excellent agriculture training center in Nepal. To produce a basic and middle-level workforce through quality and demand-driven training for school Dropout and SEE/TSLC graduates is the goal of this institute.
