Children Films Festival 2023
The 2023 Children’s Film Festival will be held. The Nepal Film Development Board and the British Council Nepal will collaborate to hold the Children’s Film Festival in 2023.
The festival will include 10 films that were chose for the “Children’s Film Competition,”. Which was put on by the “Children’s Film Committee” with assistance from the Board and the British Council.
Only 10 of the 40 films that were submitted in response to the “open call” were chosen, claims the board. 16 of the 28 individuals chosen for “Camera Sick” from the seven provinces were under the age of 18, and each received training and 50,000 Rupees to produce a video.
Ten films have promote on social media, and the film with the most likes, views, and comments will win cash. The deadline for this contest is Wednesday, February 8, 5 p.m.
The “Camera Seek” initiative was launched in 2019 in partnership with the British Council and UK’s Into Film with the intention of teaching film literacy to Nepali youngsters and drawing them to movies. According to Chiranjeevi Guragain, Secretary of the Committee and Officer of the Board.
