Pascal National College Organizes "Practical Machine Learning" Seminar


Pascal National College organized a one-day "Practical Machine Learning" seminar on the 23rd of August 2019.

Students from different IT colleges of Kathmandu studying Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology participated in the event.

Mr. Sushant Paudel, the Chief Advisor of Pascal National College presented an opening remark to formally start the event and said, "PNC is dedicated to bringing these workshop, seminar, and conference on recent trend and development on computer science and application to make students or the IT graduates ready for the industrial employment and research.

Similarly, Assistant Professor Tej Bahadur Shah of CDCSIT, TU commenced the first session of the event that was focused on the Basics of Machine Learning. Following it, Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Treeleaf AI, Mr. Ashok Kumar Pant said performed a session on Practical Machine Learning from the real-life problem prospective. The last session was hosted by Mr. Ashish Parajuli, the Co-founder of MPercept Technology as well as the Founding member of Artificial Intelligence for Development.

Moreover, Pascal National College organized a Career Meetup with IT expert on 24th August 2019 (Saturday) in its own premises at Satdobato (near swimming pool). The event is targeted to the +2 graduates who want to study IT in Nepal as well as understand the career prospect and scope of IT in Nepal and abroad. Therefore, the registration is free for +2 graduates.
