Environmental Science is the study of the interaction of the living and non-living components of the environment. It is academic discipline in that it requires scientific knowledge about the natural world, as well as an understanding about ways in which humans interact with the natural world.

Environmental Science Course in Nepal
In the context of Nepal, many colleges affiliated to Tribhuvan University, CTEVT, Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University providing the courses of environmental science. Bachelor of Science in Environmental is a four years’ program of Tribhuvan University. Previously this program was launched as three years’ program but later on, it became four years’ program. This course was started with the aim of gaining a full and objective understanding of our environment, including the causes of and possible solutions to our current environmental problems.
Likewise, Master of Science in Environmental is two years’ program. After the completion of master’s program students will be familiarized and equip with the appropriate methods used in environmental management including theoretical, practical and field-based knowledge of the application.

Cost of Environmental Science Course in Nepal
ALL the constituent college of Tribhuvan University to complete B.Sc. Environment per academic year ranges in between Nrs. 6,500 to Nrs. 7,000. However, the fee structure may change every year. As we know that private colleges are more expensive.
The total fee for completing masters is around NRs. 84,200. However, the fee might be varying each year and college to college. Students have to pay an equal amount as NRs 42,100.00 for both first and second year.
