BA at Tribhuvan University

In the academic year 2076–077, Tribhuvan University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences introduced a bachelor’s degree program in BA. It is the cross subjects where students can study Compulsory English, Anthropology, Geography, History, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Nepali, Culture, Rural Development, Social Work, Film Studies, Hindi, Nepali Linguistics, and Population Studies in the same stream.

Students can select two disciplines worth 700 points each as their majors and two subjects worth 100 points each as electives in the 2,000-point, four-year course (500 points each year). We will be talking about BA at Tribhuvan University in this article.

Eligibility

  • Must have successfully passed the intermediate, Proficiency Certificate, or 10+2 level in the Humanities, Sciences, or Management Stream at Tribhuvan University or from any other University or Board that Tribhuvan University has acknowledged.
  • If a student has not previously taken this course at the +2 or PCL Level and wants to major in English/Economics in the BA program, they must pass the Major English Subject within three years at the +2 or PCL level recognized by TU.
  • Students who have taken any other subject at the +2 or PCL level are eligible to apply for admission to effective BA programs like Sociology, Rural Development, and Social Work.
